 Marriage, one of the Sacraments of Vocation, is a scarament of love - which draws its strenght from God who is the source of Love. In marriage we see the love of God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit, made manifest.
Your church marriage celebration is both a sacred and sacramental occasion. The components of this celebration – Rite of Marriage, Prayers, Readings Music etc. reflect the sacredness of the occasion. READINGS: These are taken from the Bible only. Other reflections, thoughts etc., may be added, at the discretion and with the approval of the celebrant. MUSIC: Couples should note that the choice of music should be appropriate to the religious nature of the marriage ceremony. Secular songs are not appropriate. Marriages are arranged by contacting one of the priests of the parish.
